Selected option value jquery

To work with the jquery you need to take the refrence of Jquery into your HTML code like below.
<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.js"></script>
You need to create the list box and put the option into List box.


<select name="garden" multiple="multiple" style="width: 100px; height: 200px">
        <option>Bob</option>
        <option selected="selected">Eric</option>
